Eno Boakyewaa Foundation donated dozens of boxes of sanitary pads to the Pantang JHS students. The kind gesture was received with excitement by the staff and students of the school.
Founder and President of Eno Boakyewaa Foundation, has led her group to donate dozens of their sanitary pads to Pantang JHS.
According to the Founder and President of the Eno Boakyewaa Foundation, Abena Kyei Boakye the gesture was part of a program dubbed Pad A Girl Project , We saw the need to do an extension of high levels by donating sanitary pads to schools to support our young girls especially in these hard times of COVID 19. In Ghana , many girls miss school during their periods. By giving them the knowledge and means to manage their menstrual hygiene effectively, we’re making sure they don’t miss out on an education.
Award-Winning Ghanaian Screen Diva Abena Kyei Boakye has blessed the lives of many deprived school children at Dome M/A primary School with the necessary stationery required for adequate teaching and learning, Hand Sanitizers, and Sanitary Pads for the Young Ladies.
The donation was part of a Quality Education Project that the TV Presenter foundation has been engaged in to support school children in remote communities and deprived locations across the country.
The Eno Boakyewaa Foundation has been in existence for six years with the singular aim of supporting the lives of disadvantaged and destitute children in Ghana.
Focus areas of the Eno Boakyewaa Foundation include health, education, and total well-being of deprived Ghanaian children.
