MURRAY, Utah â After road debris contributed to a deadly crash in Kaysville Tuesday night, Utah Highway Patrol is urging drivers to reduce the amount of trash on roads.
In the last five years, Utah Highway Patrol says theyâve seen a 17 percent increase in calls related to debris on the road.
âIt sounded like a sonic boom. It was so loud,â said Abe Dietz of Salem.
Last August, Abe Dietz (driving on I-15 near Pleasant Grove when a shovel came through the windshield at 70 miles per hour.
