5 suspects arrested for alleged kidnap, murder of victim in Kaduna

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection with criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and culpable homicide. The arrested persons are Musa Adamu ‘M’ in Wase local government area of Plateau State, Alhaji Sa’adu ‘M’ of Asaba, Delta State, Abubakar Adamu ‘M’ alias Katakoje of Ibeto village in Niger State, Muhammed Nuhu ‘M’ of Minjibir local government area, Kano State and Emmanuel James alias Doctor ‘M’ of Asaba, Delta State. A statement from the State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed, said, “On 30th December 2020 the Kaduna Police Command was in receipt of a complaint through DPO Panbeguwa from one Abdullahi Salihu ‘M’ a resident of Panbeguwa village alleging that on the 9th December 2020, his elder brother one Alhaji Ahmadu ‘M’ of the same address travelled to Delta State and since then never returned. All efforts to reach him through his GSM number proved abortive.”

Bandits allegedly kidnap one, injure two in Niger village attack

The bandits numbering about 10 unleashed an attack on the village with sporadic gunshots which left two people injured before the kidnap of the businessman. Eyewitness accounts gave the name of the kidnapped person as Sule Isah, a salesman for one Abu Magaji in the area. The account also stated that one of those that were injured during the attack has been discharged from the hospital while the second victim is still on admission. A source from the village, Mallam Muhammad told DAILY POST that the target of the attack was the shop of the abducted person who owns a handset (phone) shop in the village and appeared to have made a lot of sales during the day
