KIND-HEARTED staff at the Eastern Spice Indian restaurant in Cirencester will provide more than 200 free meals for NHS workers. The Indian takeaway delivered the first 100 meals on Monday, which included chicken pakoras, pilau rice and curries. Abdullah Al-Rukon, owner of Eastern Spice, said: “We’re truly inspired by their commitment to making a difference in these unprecedented and challenging times. This is just a small recognition of the incredible work our NHS colleagues are doing. It is a very small gesture, but we believe it’s a wonderful way to show NHS staff that they are in the hearts and minds of a very grateful town.
