Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that he will step down when his contract ends in 2026 and that the ABC broadcast network is not for sale. Iger, who returned to the company in November 2022, has restructured the company and streamlined operations to make it more cost-effective. He said that Disney s ABC unit is not up for sale as the company deals with a decline in linear television and viewers shift toward streaming.
