A KEIGHLEY Show stalwart is stepping down from a role she’s held for 35 years. Judith Naylor is relinquishing the post of horse section secretary, it was announced at the show society’s annual general meeting. When she first became involved in the annual agricultural showpiece event, it was staged at Keighley’s Victoria Park. But two years later – in 1988 – after part of the parkland site was lost to development, the show relocated to its current home at Marley playing fields. Tribute was paid at the meeting to Judith’s commitment to the event. “Judith has always shown great dedication to the horse section and to the show as a whole,” said a society spokesman.
