Now they are starting to release vaccine appointments at Spencer’s Sport and Social Club, Melksham on the National Booking System for patients 40-49 years. Dr Abby Burgess, a partner in Giffords Surgery in Spa Road, Melksham, which is part of the network, said: “This booking process is in its pilot stages but as vaccine supply increases there will be more clinics available for patients to book on the NBS at Spencer’s. The NBS is now the principle way of making vaccine appointments for those aged under 50 years.
