Cape Town City have issued an important update on the future of defender Abbubaker Mobara.
Mobara joined City at the start of the 2019/20 season on a free transfer from Orlando Pirates, where he had spent three largely unsuccessful years after leaving Ajax Cape Town.
The 26-year-old had penned an initial two-year deal in 2019, with a two-year option that has now been triggred by the Cape-based outfit.
He will remain in the Mother City at least until June 2023, the club have confirmed. | The club is delighted to confirm that we have exercised the option to extend the contract of defender Abbubaker Mobara. He signs until June 2023
