High school seniors showed their entrepreneurial skills Wednesday evening at the Best Western Premier in Alton during the Riverbend CEO program’s 2021 Trade Show. The event featured businesses created by seniors from Alton, Civic Memorial and Marquette Catholic high schools.

Hernandez, Parrett honored by Alton-Godfrey Rotary

ALTON Abbie Hernandez of Marquette Catholic High School and Rowan Parrett of Alton High School have been named Students of the Month for March by the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club.
Hernandez, the daughter of Timothy Hernandez and Carrie Stewart of Godfrey, attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Grade School. At Marquette Catholic High School she has maintained a GPA above 4.0 while being in a full honors course of study all four years of high school, which led to her selection as a St. Louis Post-Dispatch “A” Student each year and being inducted into the Rose Morelli chapter of National Honor Society her junior year.
