ABG expands portfolio with rebranded Enprom equipment

Previously forming part of Enprom’s equipment portfolio, the modular range covers seaming, doctoring, and cutting technologies. ABG acquired the Spanish converting equipment manufacturer in 2019 to strengthen and expand its offerings in web-based processing and provide opportunities to enter into new market segments. Having spent 18 months research and training alongside Enprom, the company has now rebranded the shrink sleeve products as part of its finishing range. All products come are covered by ABG’s global service and support.  Within ABG’s shrink sleeve seaming offering, the shrink sleeve RS, RST, and RS2T are designed to meet the high productivity demands. They are based on patented Smart Wheel innovation: a motorized roller solvent application system providing high seaming reliability. 

ABG takes record number of DigiLase orders

A B Graphic International (ABG) has taken a record number of orders for DigiLase 4.0 digital finishing machine in 2020 fueled by the e-commerce boom and companies substantially upscaling their output. Launched in September 2018, ABG has installed numerous DigiLase machines, equipped with various configurations worldwide. Many orders, which include ABG’s automatic workflow and the inkjet digital embellishment module, are currently in production and due for installation in the coming months in Mexico, the USA, the Netherlands, UK, and Germany. According to the company, the growing order book in 2021 can also contribute to ABG’s another record trading year. Print-Leeds invests in Screen s Truepress SAI S

Print-Leeds has invested in the first 7-colour Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S in the UK to expand the business further and launch a fourth division specializing in self-adhesive labels. Print-Leeds is one of the largest printers of wet-glue labels in the UK, producing more than 200 million per year. However, the company has been approached by its client asking to also print self-adhesive labels digitally for shorter run productions.  After a study round of several months, the company chose the SAI technology, which Screen introduced in 2020.
