In a statement Wednesday, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo said the targets of the OTBT operations were wanted persons involved in illegal drugs, loose firearms, terrorism and heinous crimes, among others. He said this is also part of the Philippine National Police's strategic plan for implementing the Philippine National Police (PNP)'s peace and security framework MKK=K which stands for 'Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayaan tungo sa Kaunlaran'. MANILA - Two most wanted persons (MWP) by the Philippine National Police-Anti Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) were arrested in separate operations in Leyte and Cebu. In a statement Friday, ACG director Brig. Gen. Joel Doria said suspect Nimfa Cinto, 48, was arrested in Barangay Salvacion, Palo, Leyte on Aug. 11. Cinto, the ACG's top seven MWP, has a warrant of arrest for cyber libel issued by a court in Tacloban City.
