Bollywood veteran Randhir Kapoor on Wednesday informed that he is trying to trace the divorce decree of his late brother Rajiv Kapoor, to produce in court. Earlier, the Bombay High Court had asked Randhir Kapoor and his sister Rima Jain to submit the decree in a property-related case.

“My brother is divorced. I have got to get the probate made. For that, I need his divorce papers. He used to stay in Pune and here. I can’t find it and I am tracing it. I have put a tracer on it and people are working on it. I don’t know where he has kept it. He is not here,” Randhir Kapoor informed.

Legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s son and brother of
late Rishi Kapoor,
Rajiv Kapoor passed
away on February 9
th and Randhir and Rima Jain set to settling the
property and credits of their late brother.
Earlier, Bombay High Court asked them to submit the decree
in a property-related case but for that they need the divorce paper of Rajiv
Kapoor.

The Bombay High Court on Monday sought an undertaking from actor Randhir Kapoor and sister Rima Jain that they would make reasonable efforts to search and submit late brother Rajiv Kapoor s divorce order. For the unversed, Rajiv Kapoor passed away earlier this year and Randhir as well as Rima are now the only heirs to the property. The court was hearing a testamentary petition filed by Randhir and Rima concerning letters of administration to the property.

Actor Randhir Kapoor and her sister Rima Jain, on an undertaking, are asked by the Bombay High Court to locate and submit the divorce decree of their late brother Rajiv Kapoor. The siblings have filed a petition stating letters of administration to the property and credits owned by Rajiv. The petition states Rajiv and Aarti Sabharwal got married in 2001 and divorced in 2003.
However, both Randhir and Rima claim that they are unable to submit the divorce decree since they do not have a copy of it and being unaware of which family court passed it.

The Bombay High Court on Monday sought an undertaking from actor Randhir Kapoor and his sister Rima Jain that they would make reasonable efforts to locate and submit the divorce decree of their late brother Rajiv Kapoor. Justice Gautam Patel was hearing a testamentary petition filed by Randhir and Jain for letters of administration to the property and credits of their brother Rajiv who died intestate on February 9 this year. The petition said Rajiv got married to Aarti Sabharwal in 2001 and they divorced in the year 2003.
