FRANKFORT Legislators in the House impeachment committee voted Friday to dismiss two additional citizen petitions filed this week to remove Gov. Andy Beshear from office but are still considering the three original petitions filed last month to remove Beshear, Attorney General Daniel Cameron and state Rep. Robert Goforth. Rep. Jason Nemes, the committee s chairman, made the announcements following a nearly three-hour closed executive session. He also said the committee is now requesting additional information from Beshear and Cameron related to the petitions.
