if, they are a matter of when. we re experiencing now on the gulf coast. heaven help the nation if we move forward with more drilling. the white house will not authorize oil drilling in the gulf of mexico until the investigation is completed as to what happened and what caused that rig to sink. thank you very much aaron viles we greatly appreciate you coming on. figures show this morning the economy grew at 3.2% pace during the first quarter, slightly less than expected and considerably less than 5.6% growth in the fourth quarter of last year. still it was the third straight quarterly increase, also encouraging most of the growth fueled by the increase in consumer spending we ve seen in three years. we re waiting for the president to talk about those numbers as well as the developing crisis regarding that leaking oil in the gulf of mexico. it is showing signs it s washing ashore. the president should be speaking any minute now. we will certainly bring you his live remarks.
