WHAT was the best toy or present you ever received as a child at Christmas? That was the question we asked our readers and it clearly struck a chord with many of you, rekindling fond memories of a special time in your life. We received dozens of responses, ranging from teddies and dolls to bikes and train sets. Here are some of our favourites: Anne Bullard: A showjumping set. It came in a big box, had a horse with posable legs, a doll with riding clothes and little accessories like brushes and jumps. My friend had one and I really hoped I d get one for Christmas. I still remember the feeling when I opened it.
