The Freeport Farmer Sportsman Club sponsored a Kids Fishing Derby at Twin Hills Park. There were 120 youth registered. They fished, ate lunch provided by the club, then drew names for the winners of a camping package.
Winners of camping packages during the recent Kids Fishing Derby at Twin Hills Park were Adelaide Graves, Karly Devoy and Evan Winland. Kayak winners were Hattic Smith, Jacob Stine, and Landon Bear. Winner of the 50/50 drawing was Aaron Koch. The derby was sponsored by the Freeport Farmer Sportsman Club.
