Family Day went ahead in Petrolia, with a few adjustments because of pandemic rules.
Instead of a sit-down breakfast inside the church for several hundred visitors, members of New Life Assembly put together packages of breakfast food families could cook at home and handed them out Monday morning at a drive-thru.

About 500 people typically come to the Family Day breakfast at the church, Pastor Sam Welten said.
That wasn’t possible this year because of the lockdown, so the church assembled bags with bacon, eggs, English muffins, cereal, granola bars and oatmeal, and invited the community to drive by between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. to pick them up.
