Ryan was born in Duluth on August 29, 1974 and was with us until September 17, 2022. Ryan was a beautiful, curious, intelligent, loving son and father with a passion for cats, owning several throughout his lifetime. He had a huge heart, always watching out for the underdog and doing whatever was in his power to improve their situation. As a younger man, he often raced bicycles cross-country and continued to ride the trails of Duluth whenever he could. Ryan was an avid reader and never stopped learning. He was much loved by the entire Hom family (whom will always remember him as Rhino) and all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, his son Derek (Devin) Dzuck, his daughter Ella Hom, sister Keely (Darren) Couillard, and sister Amy (Aaron Greenwood) Hom.
