The coroner says a woman died after a fire at her home in Greenville County. Authorities say 51yearold barbara kern was found unresponsive when the fire broke out last night. 3 she died at the hospitalthe cause of that fire is still under investigation. Troopers are searcing for a driver after a pedestrian was hit and killed on white horse road in greenville. Highway patrol says this morning near highway 253. Troopers say the driver of a red or maroon suv hit the victim. Who was walking in the roadway. Then fled the scene. A passerby called 911 but not before a second vehicle hit the pedestrian. Sunshine will dominate much of the day, with only a few afternoon clouds. Highs will get into the low to mid 40s, which is still colder than normal for this time of year. Thursday will bring mostly cloudy skies, but temperatures will be a bit milder. Highs will actually get over 50 degrees in the upstate and the mountains will see upper 40s. Rain moves in thursday night. Expect light rain showers for friday morning, then the wet weather will taper off during the afternoon.
