Monett Librarys Teen Ambassador Group spent Earth Day at the Monett City Park planting roses.
AJ Rhymer, 17, left and Scott Marshall, 10, use their potted rose bush to measure the hole they dug in the city park before planting the flowers. Rhymer and Marshall are part of Monett Librarys Teen Ambassador Group, which spent their Earth Day volunteering at the park. The group will also be selling barbecue chicken this from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the library on 6th Street to raise money for the new city library. Mike Gervais/mgnews@monett-times.com
