The first-ever transgender pride walk in Lucknow saw around 1,000 people participating to raise awareness for the poor treatment and conditions that trans people face. The event was organised by the Aadishiv Transgender Foundation and included performances by children rescued from beggary. Attendees from various underserved groups also showed their solidarity.
