The UN General Assembly has approved a resolution declaring March 15 to be the ‘International Day to Combat Islamophobia’. People from Pakistan in particular feel proud of this.

Dilip Kumar will remain alive for centuries to come; my generation grew up watching his movies and he was the favourite movie star of my parents. He knew the art of method acting which no actor could master. His eloquence was unparalleled. His openheartedness was evident when he paid glowing tributes to Melody Queen Noor Jehan in a show; the selection of words was unique and so was the superb way of expressing them.
