Gas prices creep higher in NJ, around nation

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) Gas prices have been creeping higher in New Jersey and around the nation, analysts say.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.90, up four cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying an average of $2.03 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.88, up two cents from last week. Drivers were paying an average of $1.79 a gallon a year ago at this time.
Analysts say gas prices seem high compared to the cost a year ago “when most of the country was on lockdown due to the pandemic . but current prices are on par with what was seen in 2019.”

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) Gas prices fell further in New Jersey but remained steady around the nation at large as an increase in total domestic gasoline stocks helped stem an increase in demand.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.86, down four cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying an average of $2.07 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.86, unchanged from last week. Drivers were paying an average of $1.83 a gallon a year ago at this time.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) Drivers in New Jersey are getting a little more relief from rising gas prices, but prices at the pump inched up across the nation as a whole.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.92, down two cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying an average of $2.16 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.87, up a penny from last week. Drivers were paying an average of $1.97 a gallon a year ago at this time.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.90, up four cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying an average of $2.41 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.83, up eight cents from last week. Drivers were paying an average of $2.32 a gallon a year ago at this time.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) Gas prices continue to rise in New Jersey and around the nation amid rising crude prices, tightening gas supplies, and increased gas demand.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.86, up five cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying an average of $2.47 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.75, up six cents from last week. Drivers were paying an average of $2.40 a gallon a year ago at this time.
