Our Correspondent Imphal, Aug.29 (EMN): The first state- level workshop for the newly selected media fellowship award recipients of the state on climate change reporting was held at the conference hall of Directorate of environment and climate change in Imphal on Monday. The workshop, which was held on the theme Climate Resilient Land Resource Management in Manipur, was organised by the Media Resource Centre of the Directorate of Environment and climate change. In the day’s workshop, Prof. N Deva Singh of Department of Geography, Manipur University delivered a lecture on ‘Land Resource Management and Urbanisation’ while scientist A Ningthoujam Gaganchand Singh of Manipur Remote Sensing Applications Centre gave a presentation on ‘Changes in Land use pattern in Manipur –An overview’.
