MERIDEN â A 25-year-old man faces drug and weapons charges after an incident Friday that started in Meriden and ended in New Haven.
Gioseppe Destefano, 25, of 177 Chapel St., New Haven, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of high capacity magazine, weapon in a motor vehicle, interfering with police, violation of a protective order, engaging in pursuit, possession of narcotics with intent to sell over one ounce and two counts each of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.Â
