Bucks County Courier Times Univest Financial awarded $5,000 to A Moment of Magic Foundation’s Temple University chapter, this year’s winner of the Souderton company’s annual Caring for Community Giveaway. A Moment of Magic Foundation’s mission is to restore the magic of believing at a time when a child needs to “just be a kid” and help remind them to be brave, strong and fearless. Members, who are college-age students, dress as some of the world s most popular princesses and other characters for hospital bedside visits, event appearances, book readings, sing-a-longs and character video calls. The Temple University chapter has created moments of magic for more than 8,000 children in the Philadelphia area.
