Planning commission considers ordinance revisions

MACOMB TOWNSHIP A couple of Macomb Township ordinances are in the process of being reviewed.
At a Macomb Township Planning Commission meeting last month, ordinances were discussed and an update was provided for the master plan.
For the sign ordinance review, Dave Scurto, the township’s planning consultant, said a few years ago, a case made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court that ruled that any sign ordinance can’t regulate information.
