Dismiss Normal text size Advertisement Flights leaving Brisbane Airport have been delayed after a power surge caused systems to go offline for almost three hours on Monday morning. Baggage, check-in and security systems at the domestic terminal were affected, with passengers having to check in manually. The baggage takeaway belts were not functioning in the Virgin and Qantas areas, disrupting service. Brisbane Airport Corporation spokeswoman Rachel Bronish told 4BC a power surge occurred about 7.30am. “It’s quite a busy time for us, so unfortunately passengers will be experiencing some delays this morning as we work through manual processing for check-in,” she said.
