Authorities recorded 986 cases of trafficking last year and rescued 1,020 victims from around the state. Anti-trafficking cells are already present in Mumbai City, Pune City, Thane City, Nagpur City, Thane Rural, Sangli, Navi Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Beed and Yavatmal The new ones will be at: Aurangabd City, Nashik City, Pune Rural, Chandrapur, Jalgaon, Nanded, Akola, Amaravati City, Buldana, Washim, Jalna, Osmanabad, Latur, Parbhani, Hingoli, Satara, Wardha, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Dhule, Nandurbar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurga and Palghar.
