when people would write a book and be you know i wrote it so i could help other girls. but i mean i think the reason that seems trite is because it s true there is a part of me that went that thought to myself i would love to have read this book as a kid. and i know that it did help me. there was a time when i was probably about 13 and i was watching the tonight show with johnny carson. and this actress came on. and she was so beautiful, and so elegant, and she talked about how she was a bedwetter as a kid. and i couldn t believe it, you know. i couldn t believe that someone would talk so cavalierly about that, and that it wasn t this giant shame. and it was kind of huge for me. it just seems like there is a lot of stuff in the book that i think if i was and i m not saying this is a book for kids, necessarily.
