i think of two things now, chris. my father i m a first generation american. and my dad came from what i guess trump would call a shithole, it was a very rural and poor area. and a very poor family from poland, and he came to the united states alone at the age of 17. i cannot believe the courage that that took. and he was able to make a living and raise a family in the united states to become a very proud american. and second of all, what i think of, chris, today all over this country you have decent people who sit down with their kids at the dinner table and say, judge people based on their character. don t judge people based on the color of their skin or the country that they came from. whether or not they have an accent or not. judge them on whether or not they are good human beings, and we have a president today, the leader of our nation telling the whole world that that s not what
todd: i want to go to fred. fred also a trump voter who told me we need to do immigration the right way first, what do you mean by that? well, my parents are from italy. i m a first generation american. italian american and they did it the right way. they came into this country. they became citizens. they were vetted. you know, we had a foittle vet them. they all came through ellis island. you know, we don t do that today. we just let people in. it s not so much here as it is in europe. europe is worse than here. europe is suffering now. with the good comes the bad. they let the bad in as well as the good. todd: in light of what you just said in europe and in light of what happened this morning, this afternoon london time, does it make you worried? always worried. i look everywhere i go. i luke around and make sure there is not people that look like they might be casing the place. looking for an opportunity to kill people. you know, that s what these folks do. they kill people.
emotional issue, and what i hear from you i am hearing from teachers and people in the muslim community, not just the latino community and in other communities all over this country. people are frightened. they are frightened, because during the campaign, trump was saying well, we re going to deport, whatever it may be, it changes every day, but we re going to be picking people up, throwing millions of people outside this country. people who have worked in this country, lived in this country, people who have children in this country, and i can fully understand that your kids are frightened. what all of us have got to remember, and i believe this from the bottom of my heart as somebody whose father came to this country from poland. i m a first generation american. he came to this country at the age of 17, no money, no education. dropped out of school when he was 16. we are a unique and great country because of our diversity. that is what makes us great. and of all of the things that tru

you have people who also want to work here and work here illegally. you can t just build a wall and then send everybody back that came here as a kid that speaks english. it doesn t make sense. if hillary is elected we might not have the to the deport the illegals. they might go on their own because there s not going to be any jobs. andrea, if there were republican voters pouring across the southern border, do you think the democrats would want to build a wall? probably not. pets that s probably what rubio and others are hoping they can turn them into republican voters just like the kilo catcher to my left. wants to turn them into democratic voters. everyone here is legal on watters world. that s right. we checked their papers. you did check our papers. here s the problem. i think this is for the other candidates, not trump. and i am something to the cause. i m a first generation american. i grew up in a restaurant kitchen with a number of immigrants. i speak spanish. when trump
