The group is preparing a strategy to move the city forward. The focus is on the economy, and non residential areas.The news has been widely welcomed by businesses and business groups across Dublin today. We are nearing the end of the tunnel and the focus is switching to recover. Transportation, social lives and cultural organisations will all be on the list for support moving forward. A new task force to help the city after the pandemic has been welcomed.

New plaque unveiled for Thin Lizzy star Phil Lynott

Updated / Friday, 18 Dec 2020 09:58 Peter Lynott at the unveiling of new plaque in honour of his nephew, Phil A Dublin City Council commemorative plaque to Phil Lynott has been unveiled at the house in Crumlin, Dublin, where the late Thin Lizzy front man where grew up. Phil’s uncle Peter Lynott, Emer Reynolds, director of upcoming Phil Lynott documentary Songs for While I’m Away, and Cllr Vincent Jackson were present at the unveiling of the plaque in his honour on his childhood home on Leighlin Road, Crumlin. Peter Lynott, who was only a few years Phil’s senior, welcomed the decision by Dublin City Council and Universal Music Ireland to honour and remember Phil.
