A DeKalb Jackson Water District employee has been charged with credit card fraud and identity theft.
DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said Jessica Kay Hosch, 33, of Rainsville, faces three counts of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and three counts of identity theft.
Investigators say Hosch, while working at the office in Ider, took credit or debit card numbers when customers paid their bills and used them to make online purchases. At least two of the victims live in DeKalb County, Welden said. More charges are possible.
