Police ops net P1-M illegal drugs in Butuan

BUTUAN CITY - Two separate anti-illegal drugs operations conducted here the past two days have resulted in the confiscation of 158 grams of shabu worth around PHP1 million, the Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) reported Friday. "The PRO-13, in collaboration with the other law enforcement agencies, will continue to work thoroughly to eradicate illegal drugs in the region," said PRO-13 director, Brig. Gen. Pablo Labra II, in a statement. LEGAZPI CITY - A suspect in a rape case who is tagged as the No. 4 most wanted person in Aklan has been arrested in Masbate province, the Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO5) said on Tuesday. In a statement, Maj. Malu Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, said operatives of the Bicol police and Aklan Provincial Police Office collared Danilo Tuling, 33, in Dimasalang town on Monday.
