The fourth annual UTSA Giving Day will be hosted on April 9 and 10 to raise funds for student success initiatives. Since its original launch in 2021, UTSA Giving Day has raised $1.7 million from 6,268 different donors, 41% of whom are alumni. Giving Day is part of the largest fundraising campaign in university history.
Starting in Fall 2024, UTSA will use a $50k anonymous gift to create an endowment for its public health students. The new scholarships were raised in honor of Dr. Anita Kurian and Dr. Junda Woo, San Antonio physicians notable for their work during the COVID-19 Pandemic. UTSA released its midpoint Impact Report for Be Bold: A Campaign for Our Future, a $500 million fundraising campaign, on Oct. 24. The report revealed that the campaign has raised a total of $380 million so far. This number represents 46,137 donors from 22 countries who have made 142,501 gifts and pledges. The Be Bold.
