Another Wanderers legend has received their coronavirus vaccine in Bolton. Wyn Davies, who played 155 times for Bolton, scoring 66 goals, as well as representing Wales received his vaccination at Avondale Health Centre off Chorley Old Road on Tuesday to the delight of the staff. The 78-year-old follows fellow Wanderers legend and England international Tommy Banks, 90, who played in the 1958 FA Cup winning side alongside Nat Lofthouse and Doug Holden, beating Manchester United 2-0 at Wembley, in receiving their vaccine in Bolton. The news was shared by the Bolton GP Federation who said they were honoured to welcome Davies in to receive his vaccine.
