2012. who will stay and who will go? let s ask our panel this morning. joining us is executive director of the republican party of new york state and former chief minority counsel on the house judiciary committee and author of the book a better congress joseph gibson and the president and c.e.o. of women s campaign forum, shivonne bennett also known as sam. welcome. nice to see you this morning. let me start with you. is this a big deal? a lot of people saying the white house is undergoing some major changes. this is signs that the white house, there s divisions inside the white house. do you read it as something other than that? absolutely not. being in the white house is a real pressure cooker, you can only have people there so long and they ll burn out and axelrod easing out and being replaced and pretty common. the thing i like, i see a lot of clintonesque type appointments going on in the white house right now and lord knows, our economy needs a dose of clintonesque right now.
and getting hammered by the press for a couple of hours every day. i would be a nervous wreck! i would not be able to do that. it would be difficult. e-mail us, friends at foxnews.com. who would you like to see out of the obama white house? we ve heard whispers that arnold schwarzenegger could get an appointment in the obama administration but time will tell. meanwhile, the white house staff isn t the only thing changing. congress also undergoing some big changes this year. fox news reporter doug lazader has more. twas the night before christmas and all through the house. well, frankly, it s a mess on christmas eve. and one of the people who is usually here to the bitter end is fox s capitol hill producer chad pergrom bundled up against the chill of winter and making his way to the hallowed halls. you remember that scene from the very end of indiana jones where the camera starts in close and then begins to widen out.
