Alina Sanko, Miss Russia 2019 and entrant for the 2020 Miss Universe contest (the contest was postponed until May 2021, due to the pandemic), was born on December 31, 1998, in the small town of Azov in southern Russia (1,100 km from Moscow).
“Living in such beautiful places contributed to the development of my principal hobby: drawing,” Alina said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper in 2019.
