COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS â Listen up Aggies, a 40-thousand-square-foot grocery store is opening up for business Tuesday and with all the bells and whistles, it could be your new favorite hang-out with not only food but a ton of social and lounge options.
The Lufkin-based, 100% employee-owned grocery chain opens up College Station s Brookshire Brothers store Tuesday.
The new space is located on Texas A and M University System land and will provide students and the community with a wide selection of unique products, a full-service pharmacy, a fueling station and an outdoor event venue.

Doha: Over five weeks, 31 high school students in grades 9-12 explored the fundamentals of the engineering design process while learning from home during the Qatar Invents: Innovating in Three Dimensions STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) program developed and offered by Texas A&M University at Qatar, a Qatar Foundation partner university.
STEM experts Tala Katbeh and Benjamin Cieslinski developed and taught Qatar Invents, which tasked the students with coming up with novel solutions to problems while learning the necessary 3D computer-aided design (CAD) modeling tools to design and create their prototypes. The Bell County Expo Center is one of the largest vaccination sites in our area, so they need all the help they can get.
As the supply of COVID-19 vaccine increases in Central Texas, more help is needed to actually get those shots into the arms of Texans. Without hesitation, students and staff from A&M Central Texas signed up to volunteer.

Doha: Texas A&M University at Qatar STEM expert Dr. Mohamed Gharib conducted LEGO Education Academy Teacher Professional Development Workshops for teachers at the Michael E. DeBakey High School and the Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys.
The workshop, LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3: Learning Through Play at School, is a hands-on, cross-curricular STEM solution that combines LEGO Technic elements, classroom-friendly software, and standards-aligned lessons to spark creative confidence and critical thinking.
