Texas A&M University has announced a public competition to commission a permanent art installation in honor of the schoolâs collie mascot, Reveille.
The installation will be located on campus outside of Kyle Field near Reveille Memorial, the resting place of Texas A&Mâs former mascots, according to Texas A&M.
Installation of the piece is projected for spring 2022.

Doha: Nine faculty members from Texas A&M University at Qatar, a Qatar Foundation partner university, were included on a list recently published by Stanford University researchers whose study identified the top 2 percent of most-cited scientists worldwide in all fields.
Making the list were Dr. Tingwen Huang, mathematics; Dr. Eyad Masad, mechanical engineering and civil engineering; Dr. Ioannis Economou and Dr. Marcelo Castier, chemical engineering; Dr. Milivoj Belic, physics; Dr. Haitham Abu-Rub, Dr. Joseph Boutros, Dr. Ali Ghrayeb and Dr. Hussein Alnuweiri, electrical and computer engineering.

Researchers at Texas A&M University have created a new way to predict the amount of natural resources.
Texas A&M University researchers have designed a reinforcement-based algorithm that automates the process of predicting the properties of the underground environment, facilitating the accurate forecasting of oil and gas reserves.
The technology would be put into the drilling well bores that contain data censors which sends messages to each other to better map underground oil and gas reserves.

Doha: Texas A&M University at Qatar is accepting applications for the fall 2021 semester for freshman through March 1, and high school seniors who are interested in attending the university can experience life as an engineering student during an interactive virtual event recently.
High school students from across Qatar will get a chance to meet professors and current students from the four engineering majors chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering offered by Texas A&M at Qatar during its annual Experience Texas A&M University virtual event on February 20 via Zoom. Professors will talk with prospective students about what it means to be an engineer.
