Comelec's Election Records and Statistics Division showed that out of the 65,721,230 eligible voters in the country, 33,644,237 are women while 32,076,993 are men. Of the total, Region 4-A has the highest number of voters with 9,192,205, with 4,852,037 of them females. The National Capital Region (NCR) came in second with 7,301,393, (3,976,902 females and 3,324,491 males). Quezon City has the most registered voters in NCR with 1,403,895 (774,898 females and 628,997 males) followed by Manila with 1,112,081 (590,972 females and 521,109, male). After NCR are Region 3-Central Luzon with 7,289,055 (3,767,563 females and 3,521,492 males); Region 7-Central Visayas, 5,202,289 (2,665,418 females and 2,536,871, male); and Region 6-Western Visayas, 5,206,305 (2,550,639 females and 2,475,666 males).
