MANILA - The nation's total number of recovered coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases has reached 2,661,602 after 7,561 new recoveries were reported on Monday. In its 4 p.m. case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) said recoveries account for 96.4 percent of the total case count which has reached 2,761,307 since the start of the pandemic last year. Meanwhile, 4,405 new infections brought the total number of active cases nationwide to 57,763, a drop from Sunday's 60,957. About 76.2 percent of these active cases are mild, 6.5 percent are asymptomatic, 2.3 percent are critical, 5.3 percent are severe, and 9.27 percent are moderate.
