Emily and Tim Lewis are taking Three Twigs Bakery to the west side of Springfield.
After an eventful 2020, the Lewis Family have signed a lease for the building formerly occupied by Pie’s The Limit at 3429 Freedom Drive, just in front of Target.
This new location will move the bakery from its current location on Toronto Road, which Emily Lewis tells the Springfield Business Journal was always meant to be temporary and will triple Three Twigs’ kitchen size.
If you recall, Three Twigs had originally planned to return to their downtown roots on East Adams, but the project never materialized. The Lewis’s also operate Biscuits + Brunch and The Salted Lemon Market & Creamery both located in the Montvale Junction Plaza.

Believe it or not the Chicago Bulls wrapped up the first half of their season Wednesday night in New Orleans. The Bulls now head into the All Star break with a 16-18 record. The record puts them in 10
th place in the Eastern Conference but they are just a half game out of a playoff spot.
Let’s review how the Bulls have done so far and what we can expect from them in the second half of the season. The biggest difference in the Bulls this season is a competent front office and head coach. Arturas Karnishovas has come in from Denver and built a team that has a nice mix of young players and helpful veterans that can help teach the young players how to be a pro. Billy Donovan has been every bit as good as advertised, getting the best out of his players and putting them in places to succeed.
