unpredictable. this is called a flood, a flood warning coming for them, and not a flash flood warning. flood means the river is going up slowly because the river was upstream. the last map i showed you went straight up, and this is not, it s a slow rise. the forecast is to go way up here to 45.5 and it will likely not get to the 45.5 but they can t take the chance. the angle looks like it should be curving off and you don t know how much water should be up river. there s a bubble of water that has to come down the river because it rained up the hill and in the hill country. all of the rivers here still have flood warnings going on and flash flood watches across the state, and it will continue to rain today and redevelop into amarillo west of dallas and west of the hill country and run back into the same areas today
