now they ve got earthquakes outside of washington, d.c. i mean, we ve had a series of things that put heavy blows and slowed the economy back down again. the economic storm expected from irene couldn t come at a worse time, given today s report for growth for the second quarter is down to 1%, adding ever more pressure on the president as he huddles with his staff for the new economic plan he s rolling out next month. we re heading in the wrong way. the president never had a position in life where he had to create jobs. there s nobody in the white house who understands how to create jobs. their answer to everything is more stimulus, more federal spending more federal government. on his way home from a trip to asia, vice president biden says i think the economy does need more stimulus, adding of the $830 billion stimulus of two years ago, everybody says we should have had a bigger stimulus package. yeah, we should have. i was pushing for it.
