DA hiked by 4%: The 7th Pay Commission reviewed all benefits offered to Central Government employees, including those for railway employees, civilian defence workers, and defence troops, in response to its evaluation and recommendations from 2016. The key guidelines for these six allowances for employees of the central government have been issued.
7th Pay Commission: The government employees of West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh have received a massive hike in dearness allowance which will give a major boost to their salary.
7th Pay Commission: Due to the outbreak of the COVID pandemic, the Central Government has halted the payment of DA and DR for 18 months from January 2020 to June 2021. it is expected that it will be released soon.
7th Pay Commission: Apart from DA hike, the Central government employees could also get a hike in their HRA in March 2024. Official announcement in this regard is awaited.
