host of jason chaffetz. what does this mean? when you reach the age of 70.5 the government says you have got to start taking money out of your 401(k) whether you want to or not. 4% or 5% of retirement savings have got to come out. it is taxed. when it comes out of those accounts you pay tax. suppose you are still working at the age of 70.5. a lot of baby boomers still are working at 70.5, we you pay for your tax on income and then pay a fortune on the money that has to come out of your 401(k) and your ira. that is bad news for aged retirement people. suppose the president extends that so you don t have to come out of 70.5, maybe 72 or 75. that means aging baby boomers
