For the second straight night, Detroiters have showed up for the NFL Draft. At 6:40 p.m. the NFL said the maximum capacity has been hit for the draft and that general admission has been paused.
The Detroit Lions are once again adding to their secondary, drafting Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw in the second round with the 61st overall pick in the NFL Draft.
From the start of the NFL Draft, Detroit showed the world it was going to be different. We set the first-day attendance record with 275,000, and that continued through Sunday afternoon.
