anniversary of the oil spill that consumed the gulf of mexico following the explosion of the deepwater horizon rig, and bp who owned the well announced this week a $7.8 billion settlement with the plaintiffs affected by the oil disaster. one of them is joining us from new orleans. dean blanchard owner of the dean blanchard seafood, and with us is alex wagner of msnbc and doug from the wildlife foundation. one thing i hear from the victims of the gulf coast all of the time is the disbelief of the symptoms since the oil spill. so talk to me about the both, the economic impact of this spill had on you, as well as the personal impact it had. that we, we, you know, pretty much devastated our coastline.
