for the coach industry to change their itineraries, but i m very pleased with the results of that so far. today, we re processing really well. we ve opened up a new facility for coaches, an additional one, and that s been fully operational during the day and the coaches have been travelling through there well. it s a busy day for cars though as well, with about 4,800 scheduled to go through the port. we re probably about half way through our busy period now for the cars, which is, and the coaches, which is from about 10:00 this morning through to through to about two in the afternoon is where we ll get the busiest. so is there much delay, then, for either coach or car passengers? right now, it s taking probably between 60 and 90 minutes to get through border controls once you re here in the port. we do have our freight traffic backed up a bit. but as soon as the tourist traffic starts to die down, in about an hour, an hour and a half, we ll start to be bringing more freight t
of the school easter holidays were disastrous, with some people waiting as long as 14 hours to try and get on their ferries. how much personal responsibility do you take when that kind of thing happens? you know, listen, it was a horrible weekend, that s for sure. and certainly nobody would have wanted to have seen that level of disruption to the passengers, particularly the schoolchildren. you know, we planned months in advance for a busy weekend. and what we had done for last weekend is we modeled it largely on the basis of february half term, where we had 6a2 coaches go through. we implemented some new processes for that half term and for the most part, that period worked really well. so we lifted that and we moved it into this weekend. now we need to study a bit more because there are some changes a bit in the mix and the changes in the pattern. but what we wanted to do between last weekend and this weekend is put in place all the measures that we can do to make certain that this w
